Share to facebook linking to old page text

I installed the plugin, and set it up at the bottom of each of my website pages and it worked (unlike other plugins I have tried). However, I then edited one of my web pages with new text and refreshed everything. However, when I click on the “share to facebook” link, the plugin still draws in the text from the old page before I made the changes. It does this whether I view the webpage on my PC or on my phone. I have deactivated the plugin until I can work out what I did wrong, because I do not want the old text appearing when I share to facebook.

Can anyone help me with this?
