• Hi,
I installed your free plugin and went through the settings, but it does not seem to do what I need. Unlike other social share icons, I do not want them to share a post or open to my site’s social media page. Instead, this is what I need it to do: When a visitor clicks on the icon, they must be taken to THEIR social media page (like FB for eg) where they can share a post about my website. So when they click on the icon, it must share an image of my website logo and my website URL underneath. I have seen this done with another plugin before, but can’t remember which one it was. While I was setting up your plugin, it did not ask me to upload an image. I need to upload an image of my logo. So when people click on the icon, it immediately takes the visitor to their Social Media account where they are able to share my website’s logo as a post on their social media page. Can this be done with your plugin? Thank you.

    Thank you for your question.

The normal process is: users click on the e.g. Share icon for Facebook on your website, then a little pop-up opens where they can add some text, and when they confirm then it will get shared on their Facebook page, so exactly what you need.

If you want to define which picture should get shared along with it, then you can either try it by uploading a featured image (e.g. on a new blog post, on the right hand side), or, which is more reliable, we implemented a system in this plugin https://www.ultimatelysocial.com/usm-premium/ where our plugin asks you exactly which image and text should get shared (either per page, or globally).
