Share Count Stopped Updating

    Hi,

    Installed the plugin a few months ago, and it has been working fine. However the share count has stopped updating about 2 weeks ago, form what I can tell.

    I’ve read the support page here: https://docs.mashshare.net/article/8-shares-are-not-updating-or-not-accurate but can’t get it to work.

    When I enable debug mode, I do not get a message returned (as in the example you provide on your support page).

    There is no CDN/caching enabled.

    I verified share counts using the Facebook link and there are shares for posts, so I updated them manually for some of the latest posts.

    I refreshed the Mash share count using: ?mashsb-refresh

    This issue is caused by a rate limit caused by facebook.
    We are already working on this and give some update notices out if there are news.

    We hope we are able to release a first version in a few days.

    Thanks @renehermi. Curious if you have an early beta version to try out at all? We’re seeing our counts stuck at 18 right now which isn’t ideal as we’re doing a big marketing push on the post.

    Thanks so much for all the hard work, looking at getting the addon for additional networks also.

    nearly 1 month MashShare count stopped updating on my blog

    Thanks @renehermi. Unfortunately emailed but got told there was no beta available for this.

    Facebook share counts have been unavailable for a couple weeks. Any updates on when this may be resolved?

    I’ve long suspected that share counts will eventually either be very expensive or not available at all. Does the long delay in releasing an update for mashshare suggest the end is near?

    Like it says, it’s in beta version right now and being tested by a few. If you want to test it just send an email.
