    I installed your plugin and registered it, but it doesn’t seem to work.

    Yeah, the buttons are showing and, yes, they create pop up windows for sharing and I can successfully share.

    But what’s it take to see Social Shares update? All my posts still show 0 social shares, so thinking not working, when we’ve shared the posts every way possible.

    All feedback appreciated.

    Oh, and none of your support pages open on your site.

    Could this be because Facebook is returning error on general requests? I tested your url sample test for Twitter and it came back 6 shares, while the plugin still reports 0.

    You’re actually right about the Facebook error. Facebook changed their API a couple days ago and we weren’t aware of the change. On Monday, we’ll be digging in and updating to the new version of their share checker API. Once we do that, everything should come completely back online again as far as share counts are concerned.

    Does that make sense?

    @casbboy This should be fixed up now. I updated to the new version of Facebook’s API and everything is working again on our development server the way that it was before the change.

    To get this change before I release it as a new version, simply uninstall the plugin and then reinstall it from the search menu inside of the plugins page in your WordPress dashboard.

    Once you’ll installed the updated version, they should start working again.

    P.S. Thanks for letting me know about the support articles. There appeared to be a typo in our functions file that someone (most likely me) made when they were working on something in there.

    Thanks Nick,

    Can I just wait for the Plugin update to do an update with all my settings intact? Or better to completely uninstall and start over?

    We just published the update this morning, so you should have access to the regular update now for version 2.0.5.
