I’ve been using the plugin for some time and certainly appreciate it being available. But there is a quirk I can’t seem to figure out. Sometimes, when I create a page, the share buttons show up at the top of the pages as they should. Other times, I create a page and the buttons don’t show up at all. Here are two recent examples:

The buttons showed up as soon as I published the page on November 11.

https://floridahikes.com/new-to-hiking
The buttons won’t show up, despite several page revisions. The page was published on Nov 17. I do not have “Disable Share Buttons” selected, and the page layout is identical to the page shown above.

Particularly for the above page, I’d really like to have the share buttons consistently show up on my pages unless I click the “Disable Share Buttons” box. What can I do to get the buttons to show up properly? I have no problems with this happening on posts, BTW. Just pages.

I am using Genesis 2.2 with the original Epik theme.

The plugin has had this behavior since I first installed it – randomly applying itself to some pages and not others. This is the first time that I’ve published a page that I absolutely want to share using this plugin, and can’t.

Sorry to hear that the buttons aren’t always appearing on new posts for you.

I currently see the share buttons on your pages at https://floridahikes.com/new-to-hiking and https://floridahikes.com/florida-101. Have you been able to resolve this issue? If not, it would be helpful to know:

1. Are you using any caching plugins?
2. Are you able to share a link to a sample page where the buttons are incorrectly missing?

I tinkered with the page today to make the buttons appear. Here’s all I could figure out. I had a dozen or so calls to display-posts on single lines. As I stripped off those calls one by one, eventually the buttons showed up. It was not an easy fix as I had to hard-code all that info into the page instead of bringing it in dynamically. Perhaps a memory issue?

1. Yes: W3 Total Cache. Clearing the cache didn’t make a difference.
2. Here are a few examples where the buttons are missing:

Hey. I’m having a similar issue.

These pages don’t show them https://www.greenscreentalentnow.com/services/, https://www.greenscreentalentnow.com/pricing/, https://www.greenscreentalentnow.com/about/, etc.

However, most pages such as this one do https://www.greenscreentalentnow.com/examples/.

Please note that the checkbox is set correctly on all these pages. Some show up and some don’t.

Please let me know what we can do for this.
