Shaping a block of text

If you look at the CSS for those menu blocks, you’ll see it uses transform:skew to tilt them to the right.

I have, but Im not brilliant with css, hence why I need a little guidance. Struggling to identify what does it.

It seems there’s a div to the left of the text and within that spaces of individual length.
