Shadow Box for Featured Books Widget and Find Local Book Store

    First of all, thank you for upgrading the plugins, I have now upgraded and both the standard and Pro plugins appear to be working mostly as expected on our test site.

    There are two things I have noticed however. I have the Shadow Box turned off, but it seems to be automatically turned on for my Featured Book Widgets. This is somewhat frustrating since it changes the look of the site without me selecting it to be changed. Is this normal or was it caused by the malfunctions I had with the previous versions of the plugins?

    And secondly when checking to see what the Shadow Box looked like I noticed it still shows the Find Local Book Shop when it comes up even though I have that option turned off since we are an eBook only site.

    Hi Natasha,

    One of our biggest requests from users to improve the MyBookTable Widgets was to have the Buy Buttons show up in a shadow box instead of taking up lots of space on their sidebars. When we added this feature, we decided that since the majority of our users would want to use this we would have the Widgets default to using the new shadow box. If you would like to disable this feature, you can change this easily by going to your Widget settings under Appearance and unchecking the “Use shadow box for Buy Buttons” checkbox on your Featured Book Widgets.

    We are adding an option to remove the Find a Local Bookstore section from the shadow box as well in the next version of MyBookTable, which should be released very soon.
