  • vn theme ??

Nice theme sadish, I really like the colors and was hoping you would release this.

Sadish – I’ve updated the list with your themes:

    (Have I missed any ?)

Are you updating the Codex / Wiki pages with your work ?

I am not updating Codex / Wiki, because I havent learnt how to edit them. I will try to do it soon.

    Thanks Podz.

Hey Sadish, put your theme up on mine a few days ago and have been playing (for the first time) with CSS ever since.

There is one thing that I can’t quite figure out. I’ve changed all the colors but there is one area that remains white, and I can’t figure out how to change it: https://www.greenfreak.net/greenblog

I’ve only been messing with the style.css file so far, am I just not looking in the right place? (btw, not planning on leaving those gray areas, just colored them to show the difference between that and the other white space)

    Any help would be appreciated.

Have you checked the actual index for the template. Possibly hardcoded in there?

I’m embarrassed to say that I’m not really sure what I’m looking for in the index.php file. I thought if it was in CSS, I could just change the value and go from there like I did with the rest. PHP is greek to me.

Posting this for anyone else wondering solution…

I did a little searching in the index.php like you suggested and found <div id=”rap”>. I had already changed the background color of #rap but there was also a background image. Once I took the image out, the entire section turned the color I wanted it.

Thanks 7milesdown. I just need to be pointed in the right direction sometimes. ??

This is a great theme, and almost exactly what I’m looking for.

Do you know how to use the pages functionality of WP 1.5? I added a function call to get_pages.php (or something like that), and it shows the page index in a different font style. I would prefer not to edit the WP files in case I decide to change templates down the track.

I installed this theme and found that none of my links (eg. to other blogs etc.) are showing up, everything else is working fine though. I’m afraid to mess around with the PHP files, as I’m basically in the “hello world” stage of PHP.

[edit] Okay, I fiddled around a bit and found that basically all I need is <?php get_links_list(‘id’); ?>, however that puts bullets in front of the link categories. So now, all I need to know is how to get rid of these bullets. Anyone? ??
