SG Security vs Hide My WP Ghost

    my site is on SiteGround, and i have the SG Security & SG Optimizer plugins already. i was wondering if other security plugins like Hide My WP Ghost (or other?) would complement or conflict with the SG plugins. or is it even worth researching, if the SG ones cover all the needed stuff?

    Hello @syberknight,

    Generally, there is no problem installing the Hide My WP Ghost plugin as an additional security layer of our SG Security plugin. The plugin is compatible with our SG Optimizer plugin, however, there are some functionalities that overlap with our Security plugin like changing the WP login URL. I would not recommend having similar functionalities enabled on different plugins as this could cause issues not only with the two plugins but with the application in general.

    thanks for the reply. it’s probably just overly/too cautious. i suppose the SG plugins take care of all the necessary/relevant things & the others would be overkill.
