• For years we have been waiting for a WordPress plugin for Constant Contact. Finally it arrived only that I could not use it for over a year because it was sending an e-mail to the WordPress site administrator with EVERY SINGLE SIGNUP. This has finally been corrected and you can turn it off now. I was a beta tester and reported that flaw immediately after testing. Yet, it took over a year to fix. Now trying it again, I am missing the option where the website visitor can select which list to join. Constant Contact offers different lists but yet, I cannot offer a selection to website visitors? But most importantly, the plugin does not prevent fake signups EVEN with recaptcha enabled. It does not even prevent fake signups circumventing required fields. While Constant Contact identifies most of the fake signups automatically and sets them to “inactive”, about 20% make it into our lists. Increasing subscriber counts and possibly getting us in trouble with honey pot lists. I did report that 4 weeks ago and the issue has still not been addressed. Support confirmed that they knew already about the issue “I reached out to our developer and you are not the only one having issues with bad addresses getting past the reCaptcha. We are investigating why this is occurring and what we can do to stop this.” Not having a super functional WordPress plugin is making Constant Contact loosing out on a huge customer base.
