    Hello there,

we use your plugin in 32 WordPresses. In some – but not all – of them we now encounter a severe bug. Since at least the last three updates of the plugin the backend is completely frozen in the edit gallery screen (/wp-admin/admin.php?page=ftg-lite-gallery-admin&id=xyz) because of a JS bug, no matter if we use WordPress 5.1.1 or 5.2. The dysfunctional WordPresses are hosted by different hosters. Everywhere we use MySQL 5.7 and PHP7.1.

Here comes the error message from Firefox JavaScript console:

Error: Method value does not exist on jQuery.slider load-scripts.php:2:1814
        error jQuery
        s https://DOMAINNAME/wp-content/plugins/final-tiles-grid-gallery-lite/admin/scripts/materialize.min.js?ver=5.2:6

        jQuery 4

Please help us out with this problem.

Thank you very much in advance,
    doffine

Update: We now checked rolling back the plugin – back to version 3.0.0, but it didn’t work. This seems to be a bit weird as this version surely had worked back then. So it could be a plugin incompatibility.

Again: Please help us with the error above. Can you conclude something from the JS error message above?

    Hi,

it’s hard to understand, at line I instantiate the color picker:

    $(".pickColor").wpColorPicker({...})

Can you paste the list of installed plugins and their version (if not the last available)? That must be a conflict.

Update: We tried to switch off all plugins you see above but the error persists.

Would it be of help for you if you got admin credentials for one of the three affected WordPresses to check it out?

contact me at [email protected] we can find a way

    @greentreelabs

Thank you very much for fixing the bugs above with the two new updates. Now all works perfectly.

So I marked this here as resolved.
