Several Questions

My site is set up to do exactly everything you listed.

No 5 – required some custom changes – By Default it kicks out conflicts

1) The potential renter would first select the number of people attending the meeting, and the plugin would then limit what rooms are available to rent based on that number.

No, but they get a list of all rooms and how many each configuration seats.

2) He would like the plugin to automatically keep a 15 minute buffer in between bookings.

You can set up cleanup and/or setup increments but they are in the same blocks that are reservable. If you set up one hour increments, then you would have one hour setups. This is because the times are broken into set increments and they aren’t mixed.

3) Potential renters would need to pay a 50% deposit

You can set up costs including deposits.

4) and 5), You can’t overlap, and there’s no queue. If you create an Event, and require registration for that event, there is a waiting list and queues.

I know enough PHP/HTML to be dangerous. So I find my self backing the site up hourly while testing — This is a great product even if it costs money. The developer is fast and is constantly changing it to suit many needs. https://biology.gsu.edu/room-reservations/
