Several Photos 'Mysteriously' Changed their Orientation

    Hi!- I’m a total beginner at building websites and chose WordPress and your lovely ‘Virtue’ Theme Free version to start building all of them.
    I love the way this theme looks and although all of this is challenging to a totally creative, non-‘techie’ like me, I’m liking it.
    My first website I built just a few weeks ago starting in July and finishing and launching it August 9th and I still have some questions for you in order to work out some kinks in the way it displays to viewers because as I was ‘building’ it & a newer ‘Version’ of Virtue was offered ‘during’ the build, but since I know nothing about child themes, or even what they are, I opted NOT to Update and just finished the first site.
    ***This Exact same thing has happened now while I am in process of building my 2nd site. I started and am using Virtue version 2.5.4 and am wondering if perhaps this might be causing certain functions to happen because I am NOT choosing to Update to 2.5.6 Virtue DURING the build.
    I have lots of Questions and wish to know if I can ask them all in a LIST format for you here or if I have to go into this Forum and ask each one by Category on the WordPress Forum ?
    **Please let me know so I know how to proceed ??

    The most annoying issue so far: I had most of the site done, looking awesome, pictures in my Image Gallery and on pages as ‘Featured’ Images, etc.
    Ok, so 3 days ago is basically when ALL of this stuff started acting up and I cannot figure out how to correct it.
    Can you help me with this and then let me know how to ask the rest of the questions I need help with which I would consider to be the last things I need to do in order to put the ‘finishing’ touches on so I can launch my site?

    Oh, forgot to say that several of the images mysteriously ‘rotated’ themselves into other positions; ie. lying on their sides or upside down, etc.
    I did NOTHING to alter the Virtue Theme, WordPress, or any of the photos.
    4 days ago they all looked great on both the Front side and the Dashboard side.

    Hi,
    So first of all, you should always keep your site updated. We will always be updating with new features and small fixes. Updating won’t harm any of your settings. You need to keep your plugins updated as well.
    You can ask your questions here. Try to be as specific as possible and please always provide links.
