Several issues with flash

  • I haven’t played with this site in a very long while, and I guess most of these are problems that I’ve created, not necessarily an issue with Flash…

    I’m not sure I should start all over again or what.

    1) There’s a “p” that shows in the upper-left corner. I guess I put this here to test something, but I can’t find it anywhere now. It loads on all of the pages, even in admin, and regardless of theme selected, it still shows.

    2) I can’t remove the main product image for my product. I click remove, and nothing happens. I also appear to not be able to access images from any place where I want to adjust an image, for example in Customize > Favicon. I’ve checked file permissions for the upload folder and they appear to be correct.

    3) I’m getting errors any time I try to update a plugin or theme. It shows an error, but actually seems to have updated okay. Also when clicking Delete on a plugin, it just sits there, but when refresh the page the plugin was actually successfully deleted.

    4) In Customize it’s showing the correct Favicon. But the actual favicon showing in backend and frontend is of a penguin (I recall this is associated with something, but can’t remember what)

    5) The Fontawesome are showing top-justified and small

    6) I can’t install any new plugins, when trying to search from backend the little ball just goes around and around.

    Any tips on these appreciated. It’s all very strange! I’ve tried disabling all plugins, but didn’t help. I wonder if should just start all over again.

    Q1.
    It seems you have edited code and while editing it you have left “p” text below your body(html tag) region, which you can see if you inspect your site. You just have to delete it and the ‘p’ will disappear.

    Q2.
    We checked our site and everything is working fine, try updating homepage and clearing browser cache. If this doesn’t work try deactivating plugins to see if any of the installed plugin is causing the problem and if that too doesn’t work you can get back to us.

    Q3.
    For this issue, it is not generated from flash theme, it could have caused by any out sources.

    Q4.
    We checked your site and favicons are used only on homepage, and there is no penguin icons so we hope this issue is solved or if it’s there do send us screenshot.

    Q5.
    We assumed(as you have not mentioned) you wanted it in center. You may go to your?Dashboard > Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS
    Add this:

    display: -webkit-box;
    display: -ms-flexbox;
    display: flex;
    justify-content: center;
    align-items: center;
}

    Q6.
    For this issue, it’s not related with theme, you may try updating all installed plugin and check if it works.

    Okay, I decided to just start fresh… There was clearly something very wrong with the installation… Not necessarily with the theme…

    Anyways, I have one issue at the moment…. That is the background image for one of the widgets on Homepage.

    No matter what image I select or whether select tiled / paralex etc… it still shows as you see here in the screenshot…

    Just want the background image to cover all the gray area. As far as I know, I haven’t adjusted any width settings in custom HTML or otherwise.

    Hey,

    You have selected Full width center in your theme. So, to cover all the gray area by background image go to the Dashboard > Appearance > Customize > Flash Theme Options > Page Settings > Page Layout. Choose 3rd layout for it. You will get your desired result.
