• Hello everyone,

    There are several weird things suddenly going on at my dashboard.

    First, I can not create new posts/pages. When I try it, instead of the usual “Publish” button at the right, a new one says “Submit for review”. I am one of the 2 administrators at the site, I checked the user roles and I still appear as such, but this problem just won′t go away (by the way I click “Submit for review” and nothing happens).

    Second, I tried to log in as the other 2 users (one admin and one editor; wanted to see if they would have the same issue), as I know their usernames and passwords, but when I type them, the page just refreshes and does nothing.

    Third, a new plugin I bought for creating email optins is giving me problems when I try to do a very basic action which consists on segmenting the optins in “lead groups”. The reason I know why it is not a problem with the plugin is because I have another version on the site in Spanish, which is the same domain but finishing on .es, where the plugin has worked with no problems whatsoever (the first 2 problems I mentioned also don′t happen on the Spanish site).

    So the question is, what could be the root of this problems? Far from an isolated incident, it seems as though this is spreading into several of the site′s functionalities.

    Could you share links to the sites that are impacted by this?

    Also, when did the problems with the Publish button begin, and what was the last update/change you made to your sites before they began?

    Also – what plugin did you buy for email?

    Deactivate the plugin and see if your editing issues go away.

    The site is animaltia.com. The problems with the Publish button began like 1 month and half ago (haven′t published anything, nor was I planning anyways). I don′t recall any changes made that could cause this.

    The plugin for email is Thrive Leads.

    @songdogtech The editing issues were there before buying the plugin. Also, the reason why I post the question here is because as I said, the plugin works fine on the other site, and that other dashboard does not have any of the other problems neither, so it seems to be something about this one specifically.

    For the editing issues, check for Javascript errors in admin: Using Your Browser to Diagnose JavaScript Errors.

    If there are errors, or if it appears the theme is the issue, your theme is a premium/paid theme. It’s best to go to the support site where you bought the theme for help with customizations and issues. You paid for support when you bought the theme, so you should contact the people who sold you the theme.
