• Several Issues that I’m having. I have went through the videos and went through the documentation and can’t find a solution:

    1. When adding a property in the backend – on the right hand side… where it says Province/State – there is no Add button like how you show in your “Submit New Property via Backend” tutorial video. And when I click the Drop down under that Province/State it says None. And when I type in say CA or California (the property is a California property)… nothing comes up… and it won’t let me hit the enter button to add it. I did go under the Properties section on the left hand side of the dashboard in the Province/State section and Added the State (California) in the Province/State section and Elk Grove in the City/Town section went back to the property and the state still did not pop up for me to use. The same issues come up with City/Town as well. However, when I went to properties and did a quick edit… California and Elk Grove showed up. Why must I add that in the quick edit and not in the main add property page?

    2. When adding a property – I go to Property Video, put in the Youtube link. I then go to the frontend of that property… I don’t see it there. Also, when I click on Video button, ie. the button next to Overview button on the frontend… nothing happens. Although the site is no where near done and in the beginning stages… you can see the property link I was testing around with… this is a DIVI template site: https://metrohome.webworxmedia.com/property/9634-boblyn-wy-elk-grove-ca-95757/

    3. I also, embedded youtube code that I got from youtube in the virtual tour section and that didn’t show up either.

    4. I noticed when I check out your demo… you have say for example –
https://themes.g5plus.net/beyot/property-city-filter/ or https://themes.g5plus.net/beyot/property-list/ and such. I assumed I could use for example mydomain.com/property-city-filter and it would go to that page but it doesn’t as you can see when you go to my link above to my demo site and click on a drop down in the properties menu or click search by map. What is the URL I should use for the home-map-2 page or the property-city-filter page or the property-list page or the property type – house page or to search by a location?

    5. When you go to advanced search… it automatically fills in the State and City for some reason with California and Elk Grove if I hit search (I set up California as a state and Elk Grove as a City/Town… and even though there is a property in that area… no search results show up.

    6. When you go to a page and click Add ERE Real Estate Shortcodes – and click Insert Shortcode – it puts in [undefined] and where it has a bunch of short codes above the Insert Shortcode button… you can’t click on them… looks like maybe it’s not compatible with the new WordPress version perhaps? It looks like nothing how you see it here: https://document.g5plus.net/essential-real-estate/#shortcode and I don’t have the Divi builder on… I have the classic editor on… and the same thing occurs when I have the Divi Builder on.

    Thanks

    Some additional information:

To piggy back on item #3 above… you will see in the property link I provided above… where it shows Overview, Features, Video section… when you click on the Features or Video tab… it doesn’t switch the content below it like how it does in your demo… and when you right click on the page in Chrome to inspect… there is what looks like a Javascript error.

Also, I noticed on your demo… the properties page has a sidebar… how do I get that on my properties page? I have a search sidebar setup in my wordpress widgets but it doesn’t show up on the properties page.

And is there a way I can have For Sale first and For Rent 2nd… so when you come to the page… the For Sale is what is the default… ie. https://metrohome.webworxmedia.com/test-one/

    Hi mikegro1 !
    1. Please update to the latest version of the Essential real estate plugin.
    4. Example : https://themes.g5plus.net/beyot/property-city-filter/ or https://themes.g5plus.net/beyot/property-list/
We use short codes of Plugin Essential Real Estate to add this page, so your mydomain.com/property-city-filter address will not exist.
    5. I have visited your advanced-search page.
    https://metrohome.webworxmedia.com/advanced-search/
I don’t see it automatically fills in the State and City
    6. You need to install Classic Editor plugin. It is an official plugin maintained by the WordPress team that restores the previous (“classic”) WordPress editor and the “Edit Post” screen. It makes it possible to use plugins that extend that screen, add old-style meta boxes, or otherwise depend on the previous editor.

I have the most current version of your plugin. I just downloaded it and put it in.

That’s what I figured about the shortcodes but as I mentioned in my post above… your shortcode menu isn’t working… it looks like a compatibility issue with the DIVI / Child Theme.

I have the classic editor plugin in… and still had the issues. I have about 200 wordpress sites under my belt and more than familiar with it, wordpress and coding in general.

You missed some of my other questions… but it may not matter now because of what I mentioned below…

Anyways… this plugin is a challenge to make work with DIVI and I see all sorts of issues / time consumption with trying to force it to work as it doesn’t work “out of the box” with DIVI… and I can foresee issues in the future when updating DIVI, the DIVI child theme I’m using as well as when I gotta update WordPress. Not to mention I would have to do a ton of CSS work to get it to look right. It can be done but not worth the time to crowbar it in… especially when it looks like that the Beyot theme that you all have looks nice and I’m assuming is 100% compatible with your plugin and hopefully will work without all the extra effort.

This plugin has a lot of “power” and looks like it is loaded with features… so, I’m just going to buy your Beyot theme… so hopefully I won’t have the same issues.

Thank you for using our plugin.
Some problems I need to access, check your theme code to identify the error. Many features are decided by the theme, our plugin cannot interfere because we don’t know what theme you are, how it works and how it works.
You can learn more about the 2 real estate themes that we have built.

What’s the major differences between the Beyot and Benaa themes? And are both 100% compatible with the plugin?

Of course. Are both 100% compatible with the plugin?
Each theme is a different layout style.
