    Hi,

we have been recently spammed with error messages from Mailoptin:

The optin campaign “Home” is failing to convert leads due to the following error “5: This list does not exist”

The optin campaign “Home” is failing to convert leads due to the following error “6: Logging in to a WordPress user list with ID 1 is not possible.”

We have received over 1000 mails in this regard and deactivated the plugin. How do we fix this? We haven’t changed anything. There was a Mailpoet update yesterday.

Here is a new one: The optin campaign “” is failing to convert leads due to the following error “No email provider or list has been set for this optin.”

    Hello @skrondgar

Mayhaps the update severed the connection between MailOptin and your MailPoet lists.

Please ensure all opt-in campaigns are integrated/connected with MailPoet and test any of your forms to see if the error emails are sent or not.

    Hi Ibrahim,

thanks for the quick reply. It looks like our website came under a bot attack that caused Mailoptin to send these error messages. This also explains why we received thousands of e-mails. We successfully dealt with the situation and everything returned to normal.
