Several archive IDs for one post

    I’ve noticed this problem when using the editor for my blogs on my computer.

    I have a blog entry, such as this one:

    https://www.patrickjames.co.uk/blog/archives/483

    There it has the ID of 483.

    However the same blog is also here:

    https://www.patrickjames.co.uk/blog/archives/494

    With ID of 494.

    There is a difference which is that 494 is uncategorised and it has a different date.

    In fact that blog entry has about ten different IDs. Only one is categorised, all the others are uncategorised.

    I would not have noticed but my blog editor picks them all up.

    I think the problem may have started because I had installed WordPress 2.7, then reverted to WordPress 2.6.3.

    When I reverted to 2.6.3 I completely replaced everything on the server but maybe the temporary installation of 2.7 changed the MySQL database in some way.

    It is just a thought.
