Sever gone away, I think it is about the size and compression time?

  • I am setting up this great looking plug in on my blogs. Some of the backups have gone thru without a hitch, but some seem to stall adn timeout or not finish, and those are the bigger sites (2 gigs)

    I am backing up to S3

    Hi @silsurf
    please try go to BackWPup > Settings > Jobs, try to set Maximum Script Execution Time setting to about 25 seconds and then try again.
    If it’s still not working, try going to BackWPUp -> Settings -> Job tab -> Reduce server load and choose maximum.

    Thanks. I tried both the changes in settings, still have issues.

    I tried using dropbox instead of S3 and everything went through fine?

    I can use Dropbox, but if possible would like to use S3 as well. Any other ideas on what might be the hangup with S3?

    I tried one of the larger blogs to Dropbox and resulted in these errors:
