The cookie scan in the setup wizard doesn’t seem to find as many cookies (maybe 5 out of the 50 or so cookies that were previously showing up in the cookie scan step) after upgrading to 4.3.5 (free version).

Notes: testing on a subdomain website (i.e. dev.example.com).

It was working fine before I updated.

As you’re on a new domain (the subdomain) you’ve started out with a clean slate. The cookie scan will pick up the cookies that are currently active, but some cookies will only get placed after specific user actions. For this reason, the cookie scan will run in the background regularly, adding new cookies as they get found.

Some cookies also may not be in use anymore: in that case they won’t get added anymore. For this reason it’s a good idea to clear your browser cache every now and then, to make sure unused cookies will get flagged by the plugin as not used.

Let me know if you have any questions about this.
