    Hi,

I’m not using instant search but autocomplete and want to redirect users to search results page, if they enter. Which it does.. but the results page is populated by wordpress’s native search algo not algolia’s.

Search Query looks kinda like this:
    https://www.mysite.com/?s=SEARCH_TERM
Results: as usual wordpress’s basic search resulsts

I’ve turned off the instant search and it’s only set to “Use Algolia in the backend” in plugin settings. But still doesn’t seem to work.

Do i have to edit the search template or something??

Just FYI: Plugin is well connected with algolia and autocomplete works.

In Browser’s Console, I see this error: Line 758 “Cannot read property ‘name’ of undefined”
    Line 758: indexName: algolia.indices.searchable_posts.name,

    Hi @damanmehta,

I’m sorry about the issue you are facing.

Can you confirm you only set Algolia to be acting in the backend?

Are you able to share a live instance of your website so that we can dig into the issue further?

Can you confirm that the page template is still your default WordPress search page?

Looking forward to resolving your issue,
