Setup Google Sheets Client fails

    Hello there,

    i am using

    – WP 5.2.3
    – Forminator 1.9.1

    I try to integrate google sheets with Forminator.

    As soon as i click “Next” on the Form “Setup Google Sheets Client” an AJAX error pops up in the browser console. The “Next” Button shows just a loading spinner.

    The php error log shows the following:

    Hope you’re doing well!

    I could not replicate this issue on my end. Would you please make sure there is no conflict with another plugin? Deactivate all the plugins, besides the Forminator and see if you can replicate this issue.

    If all is well, start activating one plugin at a time, every time checking if the issue will be back.

    If the issue persists, please re-install the Forminator plugin. On the Google API Console please make sure that Google Drive API and Google Sheets API are enabled in the library and you’ve followed step by step the instructions to create Google App.

    there’s a conflict with https://www.groundhogg.io/downloads/booking-calendar/

    After disabling all plugins expect forminator, the connection to GSheet works.
    After enabling the groundhogg booking-calendar the forminator form throws the
    PHP Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Class 'Google_Service_Sheets'
    on submit.

    Will you fix this please?

    Hope you’re doing well!

    I’m afraid per WordPress forums regulations we can support only free plugins. The Booking Calendar from Groundhog is a premium plugin, please contact the plugin developes so they could have a closer look at this issue.

    @wpmudev-support9 thanks for the answer.

    as the fatal error is thrown in the free forminator plugin i think it would be nice if your team could take a look at this. Maybe there is a general problem with other plugins using the google API.

    Hi Marco,

    I did a test with couple of free plugins from wp.org that have Google Sheets integration and everything worked fine, I was unable to replicate the issue with any of them.

    Since the plugin is premium and we don’t have access to it this is something that their devs will need to look into further and see why it’s happening, as they have access to both their and our plugin.

    If you do get any further information from them and there’s something that would need to be changed from our end we would like to hear their response.

    My name is Dhrumit and I am the developer of Groundhogg Booking Calendar Plugin. I installed Forminator and groundhogg calendar plugin and I am able to recreate this issue successfully. I think there is a conflict during the authentication process.
