    Thanks jaar. I’ve sort of put this issue on the backburner for now… it’s proved incredibly hard to replicate in testing environment and none of my workarounds appear to actually work for everyone! I will keep it in mind and try to fix it when I can.

    In the meantime for anyone stumbling across this thread @jaar’s solution looks good –> Custom-post-limits plugin

    I was afraid to don’t solve this problem, but “Custom-post-limits plugin” is definitely the best and the only solution so far.
