Settings=>Discussion=>Pingback

    I have:
    Allow link notifications from other blogs (pingbacks and trackbacks)

    Unchecked

    However, I just received a notification that a 3rd party website is attempting on one of my posts.

    How can this be possible, if I have allow link notifications from other blogs unchecked? Shouldn’t that setting prevent pingbacks?
