• Hi,

I am having major issues with our website. I do not have access to SETTINGS & PLUGINS on my dashboard.

I have the latest version of WordPress and I cannot contact the person who developed the site for us.

According to my user access – I am a Administrator.

I am on www.remarpro.com not .com

If someone could provide a step by step instruction on how to resolve this issue It would be appreciated.

  • Do the settings and plugins menu options appear in your sidebar at all?

    Hi David,

No it doesn’t! A couple of days ago I could view the settings tab – but then it disappeared.

    The only tabs available are;

    POSTS
    MEDIA
    LINKS
    PAGES
    COMMENTS
    PRODUCTS
    APPEARANCE
    USERS
    TOOLS

    Thanks again ??

That’s very odd. An admin should have access to the menus you mention BUT there are various plugins that can change this so it does sound as if something along those lines has been done. Do you have access to your site files via FTP or some kind of online file manager?

    David.

    Hi David,

At this stage – no I don’t. I feel as though the developers have restricted our access – but it does say we are admin.

If someone finds the answer, I am very interested in finding out why this would happen too. I have all of a sudden lost menus in the dashboard including “Appearance,” “Settings,” “Plugins” and others.
