The settings screen doesn’t load. I get the error “Something went wrong when trying to load the Block Visibility settings. Try refreshing the page. If the error persists, please contact support.”

In the console I get the following errors:
    “The block “generateblocks/image” must have a title.¨
    “GEThttps://www.worldofwp.com/wp-json/block-visibility/v1/variables
    [HTTP/3 500 Internal Server Error 11369ms]”

I have the pro version. The visibility settings in the blocks work fine

Response from my hosting provider: ¨I’m not too sure on this one. If cloudflare were the issue the error code would be a 401 with a 1020 in the response but this is a 500 error which means it’s a problem with the plugin itself.”

    Good morning Ronald,

Thanks for all this additional information and I’m glad the recent releases made some positive impact. The “Activate Licence” link on the Plugins page is not dynamic, so even after a license is active, it still says that. So while that’s expected behavior, definitely some wording to improve in the next version!

Concerning the refresh issues, they all appear related. Whether you are trying to access the Settings page, fetch the Licence info, or view the Visisiblity panel in the Editor, the plugin is attempting to fetch data. It sounds like the fetch fails the first time and then on refresh it works. ??

I will continue looking into this and try to replicate on a variety of different environments. If you are able to check for any console errors that appear before refreshing the page, that would be most helpful.

    Thanks again.

    Hi Nick,
There are no more errors before and after the refresh.
Can I drop a feature request here? What about conditions based on logged in/out state?
Thanks for the updates. I hope the load after refresh problem won’t be too difficult.
    Regards,
    Ronald

Thanks for the additional info Ronald. Logged in/out state can be controlled using the User Role control. Here is the documentation article.

    Best,
    Nick
