    When I go to Sign-up Sheets Pro > Settings, the settings page says “There has been a critical error on this website. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.”

    The email from WordPress says:

    WordPress version 5.9.5
    Current theme: Responsive Child (version )
    Current plugin: Sign-up Sheets Pro (version 2.2.7)
    PHP version 7.4.33

    Error Details

    An error of type E_ERROR was caused in line 115 of the file /home/jjnumieo/public_html/wp/wp-content/plugins/sign-up-sheets-pro/model/settings/sheet-order.php. Error message: Uncaught TypeError: Argument 1 passed to FDSUS\Model\Settings\SheetOrder::cleanDeprecatedValues() must be an instance of FDSUS\Model\Settings\mixed, string given, called in /home/jjnumieo/public_html/wp/wp-content/plugins/sign-up-sheets-pro/model/settings/sheet-order.php on line 58 and defined in /home/jjnumieo/public_html/wp/wp-content/plugins/sign-up-sheets-pro/model/settings/sheet-order.php:115
    Stack trace:

    0 /home/jjnumieo/public_html/wp/wp-content/plugins/sign-up-sheets-pro/model/settings/sheet-order.php(58): FDSUS\Model\Settings\SheetOrder->cleanDeprecatedValues(‘0’)

    3 /home/jjnumieo/public_html/wp/wp-content/plugins/sign-up-sheets-pro/model/settings-meta-boxes.php(60): FDSUS\Model\SheetCollection->__construct()

    Our Pro license recently expired. Is that the cause of the problem? I thought the plugin would keep working after license expiration (just that we can’t install updates), right?

    Everything else works fine: our website and the rest of Sign-up Sheets.

    Hi Larry, I’m very sorry for the inconvenience. This error was accidentally introduced with version 2.2.7 on all version of the Sign-up Sheets plugin (Free and Pro) and impacts sites running older version of PHP (version 7.4 and earlier). A fix for it was published the next day as part of version 2.2.8 so updating to that version should fix your issue. Please send me a message through the contact form and I’d be happy to try and get you back up and running.
