Settings reverting to default

    For whatever reason, after I go to settings and basically modify the settings to what I want. I save it and its fine.

    The plugin behaves correctly with the right settings that I chose but randomly, lets say just say after 2-3 weeks, I login back to my admin panel and I noticed that the settings that I clearly changed before, are back.

    This has happened on a couple of my websites that use this plugin. I turned off all options and I just wanted the plugin to use my manual redirection but after whatever time frame, it reverts back to the wrong settings and it creates automatic redirects etc even though that is NOT what I want.

    What could be causing this issue? It’s hard to duplicate I am sure because like I said, it saves the settings fine but after a few weeks or whatever random time, I suddenly find the settings are reverted back to ones that I don’t want. I think it reverts back to the original settings of the plugin.

    What could be causing this issue? As you can imagine the SEO impact of this is not good.

    Well, there’s no other code in the plugin that modifies the settings besides via the “Save” button on the options page. So it must be something else that’s changing the settings, or deleting them. If you want you could turn on the “debug logging” so that it will record in the log whenever the settings are changed. Of course that settings is not on by default though.

    Let me know if you have any more info on this. I can’t fix an issue that only happens sometimes that I can’t reproduce…
