  • I had the same issue. I have theories on why this happened but no hard proof.

The reason my setting were not showing up is that the capabilities under the Administrations role were not checked on installation. I am assuming you have the “Members” plugin installed. If so, go to your WP dashboard, hover over “Users” and then select “Roles”. Edit the Administrator Role and check to see if the sticky list capabilities are checked. If they are not, you will not see settings.

My theory is, I installed sticky list long ago when it conflicted with the Members plugin. I uninstalled the plugin but it left fragments in the wp_options table. When I installed the fixed version, those fragments didn’t allow the capabilities to become active.

Its a great plugin. Good luck and I hope this helps!

@gtm1ldy thank you for your answer. I check admin capabilities and everything is ok.

I hope the creator of plugin take a look on this.

I have not been able to reproduce this issue. Does it work if you disable the Members plugin?

I don’t have Members plugin installed.

In a staging environment i just delete all 9.500+ posts and then i can see the settings.

I didn’t take any other action.

Ahh. That explains it. The settings page has a drop-down that lists all posts and pages. Loading 9500 post in there might cause problems like the one you describe.

    I’ll think up a fix.

The update is now pushed (v1.4.1) and the issue should be fixed.
