    Hi Steve,

    I don’t know why the lite version of this plugin have a settings page, cause this page is complete without function in the lite version. The uploaded header image won’t be displayed also the background color.

    So the lite version is unusable if you’re not able to hack the plugin! And to pay only for simple css styling is really not a option. Maybe you should think about your pro-version plan. I mean it should be possible in lite version to set all the css styles but compability with GravityForms WooCommerce e. g. can be in pro version.

    best regards

    @comdraft,

    Thanks for posting – I am not aware that the header image uploader and the set background colour is not working in the Lite Version. This is the first report of that. Will test it and get back to you on that.

    As we do with all of our Lite Version plugins the more Pro Version features that we add the more features we make available on the Lite version.

    Re the Pro-Version plan you mentioned – Worth noting that a only a very small fraction of people who download the FREE version ever upgrade to the Pro version – I’m talking less than 1 in 100. So 99%+ are happy to use the Free lite version (WordPress stats show 83% of downloads are using the current Lite version).

    We all (me included) want more for Free – but with 83% happy to use the current lite and less than 1% seeing the value in upgrading I think most folks are happy enough with what the Lite Version offers.

    Any way thank you very much for the feedback and your polite manner. Steve

    @steve

    Thanks for the fast reply!
    Maybe the missing functionallity comes from theme, we’re using a responsive child-theme and many plugins. If I’ve a little it more time, I’ll testing it in a fresh and clean WP install with standard theme and without plugins.

    I understand what you mean about the pro plan. But I think these users which need more customize functions would take another plugin e.g. “WP Better Emails”, take a look at the download rate! ?? For me it’s not a problem I’m able to hack the plugin. We cannot use another plugin, cause e. g. “WP Better Emails” uses only the wp_mail()-function to send html-mails, but we need to send them by smtp.

    The uploaded header image doesn’t appear, and it is impossible to check ‘ Deactivate background Pattern ‘. I am using the Lite version. Can you help me please?

    Note to developer:

    It looks like you have changed the settings location from the array of wp_email_template_settings
    to
    wp_email_template_header_image

    But in the \classes\class-email-functions.php
    You still try to get the information about the header image from the array.

    So, if you upgraded from older version, it might work, but for someone using most recent version from the scratch – it tries to get the header url from the serialized data and gets nothing.

    Nice fix, the image appears normally after today’s update.
    Right now I’m concerned with performance.
    It seems the site became very slow at times, and P3 profiler indicates your Email Template Lite as the biggest plugin time consumer…
