    Hi!

    I have two issues with this plugin which I would like to get sorted.

    1. Excerpts – I have used the blogposts excerpt field for my excerptions and in the widget settings set the length to 10 characters but it’s still showing the whole text. Right now I have chosen not to show excerpts at all as the plugin never shows excerpts automatically from the blogpost, I have to write them in the exceprt field in the blogpost, which I haven’t done for all posts.

    2. Thumbnails – Thumbnails sizes don’t change when I change size settings in the widget. My tumbnails don’t keep the aspect ratio of the images although the box is ticked as you can see on the blog: https://hofverbergphotography.se/blogg/

    Hello Hugo,

    the widget explains at the checkbox: if there is text in the excerpt field it is taken UNCHANGED. The reason is that the text can be HTML code, and cutting HTML code on the base of a number of characters leads to broken design. You can edit the excerpt manually to fit in the list.

    Your message “the plugin never shows excerpts automatically” sounds strange to me. Do you mean it really never shows any part of text of the posts?

    Thumbnail size: I see the thumbnails in their aspect ratios. I did I miss something?
