“Settings – Hide the author box on archives” doesn’t work

    Hi,

    That is mostly about how your theme is printing the archive pages. If it’s outputting the content instead of the post excerpt, it could end up printing the Author box as well.
    If you let us know what theme you are using we can try to have a look.

    Thanks for the answer.

    I’m using the blog theme of Neve. Could it be that the implementation of this theme isn’t good? I find it conflicts with several other plugins, too. I’m relatively new to WordPress, so I don’t know if it’s normal to have such incompatibilities.

    OK, yes, it does sound like a theme specific issue. I don’t remember anyone else reporting this.
    I can add to our ToDo list to have a look but I can’t give you a deadline. If you intend to switch themes though, let me know ??

    I have a same problem with Divi.
