• Thank you for this amazing and very useful plugin.

On a multi-site setup, where each individual site has there own settings, these settings are no longer available. When I view the settings for each site via the administrator, the settings are not there, just the default values.

In the database I can see the settings ARE still there, in the options table, against an option_name of postman_options. So for some reason the plugin is no longer loading it’s own option settings.

    Please advise.

An update: I noticed that if I update the settings for one site, these reflected as the settings for other sites in the admin (database not affected). But it appears to be completely random: if I refresh the settings page, the correct settings are there… refresh again, and they’re gone.

This is affecting the sending of emails. This has only started within the last couple of days, so appears to coincide with the latest plugin update – will roll-back and see if that makes a difference.

    Thank you for your response.

I haven’t, no. Still monitoring the version rollback to see if that has made a difference.

    Hello @amibe

Thanks for verifying. Could you please share screenshot of Post SMTP settings from your network site, reference this screenshot. Additionally, screen recording of Post SMTP settings of sub site would be very helpful.

    Looking forward to your response.

Hi, please see here for typical settings: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1YedKwA58Jf1ymUEXw56OhfM3IUbA1R9E/view

Different sites use different email providers, but otherwise the settings are mostly consistent.

Since reverting the plugin back to ver 2.9.7 this problem has not reoccured.

    Hello @amibe

Thanks for updating us and sharing the requested information. We haven’t changed anything in our code in the new sprint in regards to Global settings of multi network sites. However, we are concerned, kindly confirm further by clearing caches.

We are determined to have this resolved.

Hi, I’ve never user the Global settings for a network.

What I can confirm is that with ver 2.9.7 the settings are there… I’ve just updated to ver 2.9.8 to test, and the settings where gone (from the admin page – the database is fine)… when I rolled-back to ver 2.9.7, the settings reappeared.

Clearing cache does not appear to have an impact.

Thank you for your time and attention to this – I understand it’s probably an edge case. When I have a moment I will go into the code and see where this is occurring.
