• Hi,
I need a little help for the settings in DB-Options.
I was able to identify the “The absolute path to your database backup folder …” by using filezilla – just copied the path which read “/var/www/vhosts/mysite.com/httpdocs/wordpress/wp-content/backup-db).
But how should I identify the absolute path to mysql or the absolute path to mysqldump?
Of course there is a path /usr/bin – but not a /usr/bin/mysql or /usr/bin/mysqldump. What steps are missing. Should I just add those directories?

By further filezilla-search I found the directories
    /var/lib/mysql/
    /var/lib/mysql/wordpress_
    and
    /var/lib/mysql/mysql

None of them worked. The message “MYSQL path does NOT exist. Please check your mysql path under DB Options. If uncertain, contact your server administrator.” keeps persistent.
I should also mention that my server is run with Parallels Plesk Panel 11.0.9 Update #50.
    Thanks for your help!

Hello did you try the auto detect? If that did not work have you tried to contact your server administrator? In the past I had a problem similar to yours, which kind of solved itself. What happened after a while is, I click auto detect and it detected my path. I don’t know how or why this happened but I was happy that finally it detected the correct path.

    Kind regards
