    Hi,

Your plugin was just what I was looking for, but I just wish you could restrict the editing to just the folder you want. I know some people would like to have access to the whole file system, but I just want to access the active theme folder, so it’s a bit annoying having to navigate there every time.

    Just a suggestion.

  • Interesting idea.

Currently the file browser shows everything inside of the wp-content directory. I could quite easily add a filter there so that you could add some code to your functions.php file to set that initial directory to any folder or the active theme like you say.

I will add it to Github as a todo.

I’ve just dded ‘wpide_filesystem_root’ filter to the codebase on github. I should hopefully have it uploaded to the WordPress plugin repo sometime today. There will be an example of the usage in the ‘Other notes’ in the plugin directory.
