Settings for updating WordPress

Sounds like something you would do in your hosting control panel – not WordPress.

Try speaking to your host tech support they will be able to talk you through it.

Um no, this is within WordPress – the ‘Update WrodPress – Connection information’ screen – “/wp-admin/update-core.php?action=do-core-upgrade”

I recall having to enable some PHP features or add some plugin when I set this up the first time.

You need to contact your host…

Possibly, but I discovered I’d forgotten to add the rewrite rules to the site config file (IIS) and it started to work perfectly!

Just an FYI… if you are using ISS – preface every support request with that. 99% of WordPress installs are on Apache so we just assume that usually…
