Hello, and thank you so much for the most amazing SEO plugin. you have done a great job guys.
I have a bbpress, and on google replies used to be index like reply to: the topic name example.
however, I edited the options it was (title) (page) (separator) I deleted the page. and now it is not showing anything on google. so I went back and put the original ones and now it has been two weeks but google is not picking up the right SEO title.

what should I do in this case? I am considering reinstalling the pluging do you think that would solve the issue?

    thank you so much guys.

Reinstalling the Yoast SEO plugin may not be the solution of this issue since all the SEO data will remain same. So, there’s no point of reinstalling the plugin.

That said, if the changes you have made in the SEO title isn’t appearing in the search results, we recommend you to our this guide that will help you to troubleshoot this.

Thanks for the reply, it was working fine but I changed the values for the title and that mixed it all up. I think I should use the default setting and see what happens. I tried this before but no luck. I will try it again from the values on the KBs and see it it helps.

thank you so much for the follow up, the issue has not been resolved yet.
I check your KBs and found this one https://kb.yoast.com/kb/yoast-wordpress-seo-titles-metas-template-variables/

I used %%title%% %%page%% %%sep%% %%sitename%% but it was not working,I checked the page source and it is only showing <title>- ???</title> which is the site name.
and google was indexing pages of my site like everyday as there are new replies. but now it seems to not indexing them. it just index new topics. it you would like to check the page here is the link.

We reviewed the page at https://www.hatit.net/forums/reply/6963/ and do see that the title tag is being output in the source code as:

    <title>- ???</title>

If your site is not outputting the title as expected that you have configured under SEO>Search Appearance, we would first recommend clearing the site’s caching. If you clear your cache (server, plugin, or CDN such as Cloudflare) does this resolve the issue? If you are not sure how to clear your server cache you should speak with your host provider.

If after clearing the cache the issue still persists, can you next perform a conflict check to see if the issue with the title not being output is due to a conflict with another theme or plugin on your site? We have a guide on how to check for conflicts here: https://kb.yoast.com/kb/how-to-check-for-plugin-conflicts

We are going ahead and marking this issue as resolved. If you require any further assistance please create a new issue.
