Settings changes notice won’t go away

    Every time I go to my WordPress admin dashboard, I see this at the top:

    Custom Login: Version 4.0.6 has some settings changes. Please click here the run the updates

    I have run the updates, but the message persists. I clicked the ‘x’ and it disappears temporarily, but returns every time I go to the dashboard.
