Settings are lost repeatedly

The theme has many many settings — fonts, colors, including what could arguably be called content:

• home page slider
• home page mini-boxes for page links
• home page “sections” with image and arbitrary HTML
• Contact info, which is nicely displayed in the header and footer.

However, all your work in entering these settings can be easily lost.

1. Settings of the PRO version are not compatible with the Free version. If you switch from Free to PRO, your settings are lost.
2. If you create a child theme of either the Free or PRO version, your settings are lost. (You shouldn’t need a child theme of PRO; it includes a text box for custom CSS.)
3. If you switch back from the child theme to the parent theme, your settings are lost.
4. If you move the site to a different domain name, your settings are lost.
