    hi!

i am missing my store sales and store settings menu items.

they were there last night, this afternoon, missing. i backed up and upgraded the wp-ecommerce plugin hoping the upgrade would fix, no luck. did not upgrade WP or change template or make other site changes before they disappeared.

    WP v. 3.7.3
    WP-EC v. 3.8.14.1
    Theme: Tribeca

also purchased gold this afternoon after menus disappeared (want that grid view) but cannot access menus to activiate it.

i have products i need to ship to customers and cannot access their order info. sales summary shows in dashboard, but none of the numbers are links to the order info. ‘products’ menu and dashboard info remains visible.

can someone help me with the direct relative URLS to store settings adn store sales areas?

ultimately of course i want the menus back, but while continuing to troubleshoot at least i can manually navigate to these settings menus to i can ship my customers’ goods.

    thanks!

fun update: from my laptop at home, the menus are visible.

from my desktop, the menus are gone. doesn’t matter which browser i use.

so… can someone help me figure out what i need to update on my desktop to make these menus show up?

    Hi there,

Ray here with WP eCommerce Support team. After reading up your issue, and focusing on the question that you are bolding, you require a way to create a menu in wordpress menu which contains the products or categories?

If I am on the right page, what you need is the right shortcodes to use.

[productspage] – is the shortcode for products page. In this case if you purchased Gold cart, you can use this to display grid view.

[wpsc_products category_url_name='[categoryname]’] – replace [categoryname] with the slug – This one will display the category.

To use a shortcode, just paste the shortcode into the description area on your page as text.

    Thank you,
    Ray
