settings and categories after plugin update deleted

hmm, this doesn’t happen to me; can I know how did you upgrade your EM ?

That was standard procedure via the plugin backend. Very annoying because I made a lot of special settings and had at that time no backup. Sure my fault.

What version where you upgrading form? Which version of WordPress do you have? Thanks.

I did update the EM from 5.5.2 -> 5.5.3 using WP 3.9.1

hmm, not sure what happen but upgrading should not delete anything like settings; does it happen when you upgrade EM and/or wordpress ?
