Hello @marcusbs
The previous IPN endpoint was only used by the PayPal Checkout Gateway plugin (or the Standard integration) and can be disregarded/deleted if you no longer use any of the two integrations.
PayPal Payments does not use PayPal IPN but instead transmits events via webhooks. This works similar to IPN, but better and so you don’t need to enter a specific URL anywhere as everything is automatically configured by the plugin.
To improve the user experience, our recent plugin update 1.6.0 added an interface to manage the webhooks from within the plugin.
So you don’t need to worry about PayPal IPN anymore when using PayPal Payments as our plugin uses the latest PayPal JavaScript SDK and REST API integration.
For any further questions, feel free to reach out anytime.
Kind regards,
Joost
