    1. Word Press Add new page. Then you would enter a Title. My question is no matter what you enter in that field it doesn’t matter because what you enter in the Yoast SEO title takes priority? Yes or No?

    2. Focus Keyword – Can it be a phrase? Should it or can it be the same as the SEO Title?

    3. I not only want to cover the town I do business in but all the surrounding towns so how can I do that? I don’t want to for example Town A Website Design, Town B Website Design, Town C Website Design. Is there a better way of approaching this?

    1. Yes, the SEO Title field outputs the title tag as the data you enter here.

    2. Yes, this can be a phrase. As for the SEO title we recommend that the focus keyword be in the title, so them also being the same is good as well.

    3. You can optimize your page for multiple variants of keywords/phrases, however this is a feature of Yoast SEO Premium, not the free version of Yoast SEO. One of the benefits of having the ability to add multiple focus keywords is the ability to to optimize a page for multiple variants of long tail keywords. We also have additional information on this topic at the following link: https://yoast.com/focus-on-long-tail-keywords/.
