• Updated 9 October: Getting great service from the WP Mail SMTP team!! Have upgraded my review from 1 star to 4. And certainly will not be deactivating the plugin. Although still not 100% functional I am confident we will get sorted through the support team.

    Original Review:
I have gone through the process several times carefully, and simply cannot get the link between SendinBlue and my website server functional. I have copied over all the required TXT files from SendinBlue to Siteground, but even after 24 hours, the ‘Record added, please verify’ button does not work. And I keep getting warnings in the plugin about not being verified. Becomes quite circular for sure! I will experiment with Google Mail tomorrow to see if works in place of SendinBlue. Otherwise, sadly I need to uninstall this plugin. A shame, becouse the interface is fantastic ??

  • Hi @rjfnz,

I’m sorry for the trouble you’ve run into when configuring the Sendinblue mailer with WP Mail SMTP.

We’d be happy to help you resolve this issue. Could you please set up a support ticket in the WP Mail SMTP www.remarpro.com support threads?

When sending a message to the support threads, to help us resolve the issue more quickly, you could include the full error details. To get the error details, you’ll need to head to your website dashboard and then go to the WP Mail SMTP > Tools area. From there, you should be able to see the full error log. Here’s a screenshot for the option to get a full error log: screenshot.

This will provide you an idea of what might be going on.

In similar cases, we have seen like this, it was due to the API key being only partially copied (screenshot).

If that is the case, you can resolve this by going to your Sendinblue API, deleting your current API key, adding a new key and copying the full key (screenshot), and then adding it to the WP Mail SMTP > Settings page.

I apologize again for any trouble with this, but I do hope this helps!

    Thank you!

Hi again Justin. Recreating the API key did not make any difference. Interestingly SendinBlue says the domain miniaturetimetraveller.com is vertified, but when I go to Manage > Authenticate, I still get the ‘Record added. Please verify it’ message. I’m wondering if I need to replace all the TXT files I copied over after installing the new API? Anyway, I have created a support ticket as you suggested. THanks again, regards, Roger

Sorry, one last direct message. I could not see a facility in the Support Ticket page for adding screenshots?

    Hi @rjfnz,

I see that you have already started a discussion here in the support threads. I also see that you were able to share screenshots, nice work!

Please feel free to continue reaching out in the support threads for any additional questions.

    Thank you!
