Setting up users to login via IP

  • Hi,

    I operate an online (crossword puzzle) portal and sell the product as an e-resource to public libraries.

    I am interested in subscribing to WP Members. However, I would like to know first whether library patrons can access the material using the library’s IP address (IP based login).

    While that’s not a feature of WP-Members, yes, you could certainly set a user based solely on IP address. There are some functions in the plugin’s API that would allow you to more easily implement a custom process for handling that – wpmem_get_user_ip() and wpmem_set_as_logged_in().
