Setting up taxes to appear in cart correctly

Hi,

When I log into my website with a UK saved billing / shipping address I would like the tax to appear in the cart. At the moment you can only see the VAT added when you proceed to checkout on the checkout page. How can I have the VAT appear on the cart page without having to set the default customer address to ‘shop base address’ as we are based in the UK and this will show VAT included pricing globally on the cart page, and it is only in the UK where VAT is applied. I have currently had to set the desault customer address to ‘No Address’.
