Setting up Standard Tax Rates by County

  • Hello,

    In California I have to charge state and local sales tax. Is there a way to upload a standard rate by county? Los Angeles County has over 450 zip codes that are not completely in numerical order so entering them manually would take forever. Is there a way around this that anyone has found?

  • Hey Lindsey, the better way to do this is to get a sales tax rate table for CA. To save your frustration ,you can checkout Woosalestax.com. They have zip code based tax rate table for a very affordable price. Their sales tax rate tables are light weight, no need to enter hundreds or thousands rows of zip codes. Hope this help.
