• Hey everyone (including Otto)…

I am setting up multiple WP instances with SFC. With FB apps, I’ve set up the same identical apps except names have changed and websites have changed.

In the two WP instances, I have set up the same exact plugins and yet, when I grant access, both get access.

But on one WP instance, when I bring up the edit post/page page, the FB Publisher says “There is an issue with javascript or plugin”.

I’ve turned off all plugins so they are identical. I’ve deleted the busted SFC setup, then reinstalled.

    Still, no avail.

    Question:

Is there a certain way we need to set up the facebook app for it to work correctly? Are there any known plugins that SFC won’t work with?

Are there any places I can start searching around and seeing where I can debug/edit the code?

I was a Java developer for about 9 years, so I can move around in code.

    Thanks.

The trick tends to be really, really super careful about the domain names in the FB apps. If you add a www where there isn’t one, for example, then FB gets all upset about it.

Triple check the FB Apps and the domain name settings. These matter, a lot.
