    Hello all,

I’m using google cloud, I really now wish I wasn’t but I have no choice it seems for now. I couldn’t figure how to make email work and it seems googlecloud doesn’t like certain ports etc. Well I tried to move host but again ran into issues, so the guy who set me up on google host now informs me I need to use sendgrid as the third party to bypass googles restrictions. OK fair enough.

I’ve installed Sendgrid to my host (I assume), setup an account with them (free for now), downloaded and installed the Sendgrid WP pluggin.

I did generate an API key and put that into the wordpress pluggin. Now I’m sort of lost. To the point I don’t even know what I’m supposed to being doing or what things actually do.

I had originally tried to get Zoho to work with WP and had that all setup and varified. Now with sendgrid to get the white label thing setup I have to change or add DNS records. So will I not even be using Zoho in the end to receive and send my emails from :s I thought Sendgrid was just a third party thing to bypass the issues with google. So how do I get my @domain emails I wanted and had ready in Zoho?

I just don’t get the steps and what actually is doing what to be honest. If someone could explain in simple terms briefly and how basically I get contact form 7 to send from wordpress to an email domain of my choosing to an email service (zoho or whatever) that would be greatly appreciated ??

OK cool so by deleting the MailBank app I had my emails started coming through, finally I got an email off my contact form ?? First ever in like a month, I am happy.

So the whitelabel thing, to hide it saying it came from sendgrid. I just add those MX records in addition to my existing records and it’ll still send to Zoho and hide the from sendgrid thing?

    cheers :)))

    Hi there,
We are glad to hear that things started to work out for you. For more details about the whitelabeling feature, we would recommend you the following tutorials:

How to generate DNS records for your domain
How to add DNS records under a hosting company

Things should work pretty similar for Zoho as well. For more assistance, you can contact our support team at any time.

Thank you very much for your time,
    SendGrid Team
