• My primary domain is https://www.weight-loss-at-last.com (which I will fix another day).
My add on domain is https://www.modernimagemonitor.com (which is what I need help with).
Probably easiest to show you what I’m trying to do with an example.
    1. If you scroll down to the bottom of this page and look in the lower left corner, you will see the word Privacy.
    2. If you click on it, you will see a screen with a Privacy Statement on it.
    3. I want to set my Privacy Statement up just like that.
What kind of file to I use to create the Privacy Statement and what do I name it? Then, when I upload it, exactly where do I place it?
I’ve been struggling with this for a while and would really appreciate your help. Thanks, Diane

  • Login to your admin and create a page called Privacy, or Privacy Statement. Then add whatever content you want to the page via the editor. Once the page is done, you can add that page to your menu if you have one set up.

Thank you for replying. Have no problem creating a page with my privacy statement on it. If you looked at my site, I already have links on the sidebar that I can direct to the page. But, I don’t want the page to show up on the navigation bar.
Saw a reply that said to go to wp_list_pages
and use the exclude parameter to keep the page from being seen on the navigation bar. But where do I find it?
Am so frustrated by this. Would be so happy for the help.

How are you doing the navigation? If you are using WordPress menus, you set those up at Appearance > Menus, and then you create your menus with whatever pages you want to show up.

When I create a new page, it automatically shows up on the navigation bar. I can give it an order number to place it where I want among all the other pages. But I don’t see where I get the option to hide it completely.

Your best option would be to do what I said previously, use set up a menu through WordPress and then you can have whatever pages you want on that menu. If your theme doesn’t support those sort of menus, then you’ll either have to try adding the functionality or get a more up-to-date theme.

    Will try that, thanks!
